I have posted (near as I can tell) photos of my latest project, Darwin's Ark.

The concept is The Ark (HMS Beagle) and extinct and endangered critters. I chose the queen as Mrs. Noah for no other reason than I felt like it and had no idea what Mrs. Darwin looked like.

The Beagle is moving along, finish bracing the ribs, then plank, fill out the enterior space for stalls/compartments for the critters. The deck will be removable to access the hold. I may manage a couple of more monkeys for the rigging and maybe a bird or two.

This is a gift for my wife (now entering its fifth year), and is my third ark project. The first was also plank on frame, the second was bread and butter (didn't like those results).

Glad you like them. The mammoths were kind of my favorites to carve. Darwin and the Queen were fun mostly because I don't carve people much. Actually the two other Noah's are the only other people I've carved, not counting several Katchina dolls I did about 30 years ago.
