Well it was time for a new truck. I have been getting larger trucks each time I bought a new one. I started with a Mitsubshi mini p/u then I drove a 1998 Dodge Dakota mid size for 7 years. I traded it in yesterday on a 2003 Toyota Tundra:mrgreen: ! It has a V-8! I've never had one of those before. This is a full size p/u and it is fast and BIG. It will also tow 7100 pounds! I guess you can tell I am excited.

Nice truck. I have had my eye on the Tundra for a few years. It would be my 1st choice today for a new truck. Maybe when my current truck dies. I got 160k miles now. I'd like to see 200k.

IMHO, I have the best type of truck in the world... "PAID OFF".

I still want that Tundra though! Maybe late this summer. Just a thought, where'd you get it? Dealer or Private Owner?

I did lots of looking on-line to get a feel for pricing, ran all the reports I could find too. I found it at a Toyota dealership. It had been on there lot 5 months. I got a really great deal. It only has 21k miles on it. I paid right at wholesale for it.

Let's see...VERY low miles, V8, beautiful truck, Toyota quality, paid wholesale...Yeah, that's gloatworthy!!

I bought my 2005 Chevy crew cab 4x4 just BEFORE Chevy started giving them away!!! At the time, Toyota and Ford were not even competitive.

Very smart deal, Tom, and great timing on your part, BUT,

You suck! :)

Yeah, ain't it terrible when they cut off all those nice FAS cherry boards down to fit in the bed -- talk about making scrap....

I got a Ranger, too -- extended cab but short bed... (Still hauls lumber, tho!! :-D ). Tundra would be sweeter...

Thats why I like my F150 Extended Cab, Long Bed. although it is a pain to park sometimes in a parking lot. 21' bumper to bumper and a BIG turning radius.
