My 1st Pen!

On Feb. 24th, I stopped by DaveO's shop for a basic primer in using my new lathe. Besides the lessons, Dave graciously sharpened my new set of turning tools! Thanks Dave!

Then, well ... you know Dave .... he gleefully said, "Lets make a pen!" We, I, did and here is the result. Wood species unknown but it turned out ok. Now I've got to get me the mandrels et al for doing this myself!
