I want/need to fix my EX21 and stand so I can move it around in the shop when I use it and so I can move it to the side when I don't.
My first thought was the mobile base that is sold for that saw, but it's been suggested this may not be the best idea as it may introduce vibration issues from the fit of the wheels.
My question to you folks then is this. Do any of you have experience with using a mobile base on your scroll saw? Do you have suggestions as to how to affix wheels to the legs on one end so that when it's in use the legs are all that touch the floor, but so the wheels will contact the floor when I want to move it? Do you have any other suggestions as to how I can do this so I can move my saw around the shop?
