Man of the year

Just throwing this out for consideration. I think along with our annual picnic we should do some sort of person of the year recognition /award. Say to the non BoD member who makes the best contribution to the NCWW and our mission. Selection will be done strictly by the BoD.

I'd go along with that but would suggest it be called Woodworker of the Year. Not a bad idea Scott.

I don't think it is a bad idea, but I think about all the crazy stuff that goes along with it.

How to do submissions
Who is going to get PO'ed because we did x or didn't do y.
Would we offer a prize
What would be the requirements for nomination.

Don't get me wrong, not slamming it, just thinking with my fingers as I am tired of looking at quickbooks and trying to find the flippin attorney and accountant. I am going to call Steve tomorrow and just get the names and phone numbers.
