So, our [STRIKE]3[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]4[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]5[/STRIKE], 6 month long house project is wrapping up. I am saving some $ by doing the trim carpentry myself, so I convinced the LOML that I needed the right :tool: to do a good job. Here is what I got several months ago from Toolnut when they were on special for about 1/2 price:
It is a JET 10" SCMS, and I am really impressed with it so far. Of course almost anything beats my 10+ year old 8 1/4" craftsman SCMS that this replaces! My favorite feature is the green laser that is dead on accurate. It has also impressed me with its ability to easily cut very small molding returns without launching them across the shop... :eusa_doh: DAMHIKT
