I am looking for a decent cheap (used or new) bowl gouge. Anyone have one they would like to sell or know where to get one?

Thanks

Michael

For new I was going to recommend the Pinnacle line the Woodcraft carries, but they seem to be now branded Wood River http://www.woodcraft.com/product.aspx?ProductID=146174&FamilyID=5238

Another good line for new is PSI Benjamin's Best. Here is a really nice set of 3 that won't set you back much - http://www.pennstateind.com/store/LX298.html
Or you could just get a single size for about $20.

Personally I prefer a fingernail grind on my bowl gouges, but don't pay the extra money to get one pre-ground that way. It's easy to do yourself, especially with a Wolverine type sharpening jig.

The Benjamin's Best gets great reviews in many turning forums. I have several Pinnacle tools, but not a bowl gouge, and I find them to be very good quality also.
