The turning in the last photo is 15 1/2" high and has 3441 pieces. The 12 pillars are 3 1/2" high and have 256 pieces each.

WOW! Charlie your work is always beautiful and your designs are stunning! I could be wrong, but it appears to me you using some woods that I don't recall seeing too much of in your previous work. I very much like the contrast this brings to your turnings.
