I have been shopping for a new table saw and pretty well narrowed it down to the Grizzly 1023 or the Steel City 35610. Now, Woodcraft has a sale on Saturday only with 10% off Jet and Powermatic, plus there is a $100 rebate from Jet. I can get the Jet XACTA with 50" fence rails for about the same price as either of the other saws. The only thing I can see about the Jet that I do not like is that the extensions are not chamfered on the front edge and, from reading reviews, Jet customer service is pretty bad.

What do you guys think? Does anyone have experience with the Jet?:BangHead:

I have had a 10" Jet Contractor saw for 6 years and never had a problem with it or any other of my Jet power tools(DC, 12" bandsaw (That is for sale), and 6" jointer).

Maybe Jet tools don't need much service and their service people are "rusty" when they get a service call.

A 12" mill bastard file will bevel the front edges of the wings and top in short order. The Jet saw is basically a clone of the Uni saw. Good saw.
