Welcome to Snoopy's nightmare. :gar-Bi
Some may recall that last year I made rubber band six-shooters for all the kids in my family.
I really had fun doing it and decided to make it more of a tradition and try to make something.
This year, we have the Bi-plane shelves.
Each plane has a cockpit to allow a favorite doll or teddy bear to pilot it.
The bottom shelf is a yard long. The top shelf is about a half foot longer.
The wood is poplar. In fact, it is the poplar I bought from Michael Garner back in Oct.
I used regular house paint and then put a couple of coats of sanding sealer on that and then poly to give it a shine and to make it durable.
The props were cut freehand on the scrollsaw.
(I am starting to really appreciate the skill that goes into some of the scroll work I see on here.)
