Saw this ad on Charlotte Craigslist... Thought it was pretty funny.. :) But I know nothing about the lathe. http://charlotte.craigslist.org/tls/2477237917.html

My daddy doesn't use me like he should. When he bought me ten years ago, he promised me he'd use me every weekend - but what did I get - four table legs turned in ten years. That's not right even though they were perfect duplicates. I am a hot Italian Mini-Max T120 just like a Ferrari, not one of those wimpy Asian lathes. I know you haven't heard of Mini-Max but how many Ferrari's have you driven lately! I can handle your wood between centers up to 47" - is that enough for you? Not only can I turn it once, I can turn the exact same thing all day every day with my duplicator as long as you can last. My four speeds are from 500 to 2500 rpm coming from my delicious 220 volt motor - I can even turn backwards if that's your thing. My bearings are as tight as the day I came off the assembly line. My daddy just put wheels on me so he can move me around, but he still won't use me. I'm suffering in this workshop where I've been cooped up for ten years with all this cabinetry stuff. Yes, it is heated and dry so I'm not rusty but I need a better life. He even reduced my price even though I cost over $4400 new! I'm worth more than that. He even said he might consider a trade for some other woodworking stuff. His shop is so crowded now I can't imagine what he would want, can you? He says he just likes cabinet making and is not turned on by wood turning! Can you imagine that? Norm he ain't! He didn't even dust me off before he took these pictures! I look a fright! I guess it's because I was born in 1985 and my daddy is much older than that - he just can't handle me - can YOU? Please give me a new home so I can move on with my life.
