help on joining bar moulding

I need to butt join several pieces if 5 1/2" bar top moulding to obtain the length I need. Any suggestions on technique to use would be appreciated. ..... Thanks

I don't know what 'bar top' molding looks like. Got pix?

You should be able to use countertop draw connectors. Zip bolts are one type

Thanks Jack. I found them in the Rockler Catalog. They appear to be a stronger solution than Kregg screws.:wink_smil
