There are 6 slide out shelves (3 on left and 3 on right).
With both assembled it’s 111” long x 45”tall x 26” deep.
Slide out trays (shelves) are 51 1/2” wide x 26” deep.

What is the distance between the shelves?

They are pretty tight, but the whole point of sliding shelves is to maximize the space. It’s 8” or 10.5” depending on which holes are used. Obviously, you can also remove a shelf if you need more space. I think they may have been designed for 1 gallon paint cans since they “just fit”.
