Gloat in Progress: Ridgid Cordless Hand Planer

A quick trip to the Home Depot in Matthews (near Charlotte) today ended up adding another tool to my collection. I've had my eye on the Ridgid Cordless Hand Planer, however never had the $200 to drop on it. Well, today was my lucky day ... for reasons unknown they had it on clearance today! I picked up a brand new one for $79! Which worked out even better because my Discover card just gave me a $75 cash back gift card to the Depot .... sweet!

Wow! You suck! I sure paid a lot more than $4 for my cordless planers... of course, my cordless planers make a lot less noise, too!

$4 for a $200 tool8-O8-O8-O... Wish I could have gotten in on that one. I'd love to have a better planner, particularly a cordless one. Sticking doors is a major punch list items for the new homes.
