Furniture style bath vanity

Back in the winter I posted the start of this in a “post what you’re building”thread. It’s been taking up room in the shop a while now waiting for tile man, plumber, and electrician to get the site demoed and rebuilt. It’s finished and installed waiting for the vanity top to be fitted out and hooked up. So here it is.

The last photo is one I posted earlier showing the drop-in drawer case construction. It drops in from top making it so I could lift it and move it alone.

That's slick using a separate box for the side hung drawer runners. That design saves an incredible amount of space.

I didn’t understand what you were doing when you told us about this at lunch. Makes perfect sense now. I like that a lot. Wanted to do something similar in our bath but not enough room. It really looks good.

Beautiful work, Charlie! And I love how you used a separate drop-in case for the drawers. In addition to saving space, as Bob said, it also saved some strain on your back getting it into place.
