From miter stand to station

I have been working on upgrading my mitre saw stand. The slide out will allow for a dust collecting funnel under the bench. I will be working on the draws and doors next.

There will be 3 draw compartments 2 with 3 draws and 1 with 2. The others will be doors with slide out trays

Right now I am using 2 1/2 dowels to stop it from sliding . I am looking into other options. I any one has some ideas I am interested

Yes I have a small delta with a trash can separator. I will work on setting it up after I finish the Miter station and upper cabinets
