Turned my first pen today and wow was it fun. I made some rookie mistakes, but learned a bunch. Thanks to DaveO for the tip on using Purpleheart blank as my first, worked well. Can't wait to start the next:eusa_danc Jim

Look great, nice form. What did you finish with?? Pretty soon you won't be able to part with any ¾" x ¾" x 5½" piece of wood, no matter how ugly.
