I just finished another Fine Spirits Cabinet, which is for our home. The carcass is Claro Walnut with a cherry slat back. The door is figured Claro Walnut with a Curly Maple panel. The cabinet is sized to fit a nook in our dining room. The ball-tipped hinges and knob are from Horton Brass. I also incorporated some LED lighting on the top/bottom and a motion-activated light strip on the interior. I finished the whole cabinet with 2 coats of Odie's Dark oil and a final buff coat of Renaissance Micro Crystalline wax.
Here's a follow-up photo of an upgrade suggested by my lovely wife. She suggested I hang some of the small port glasses from a rack below the light...I think she hit the mark with this upgrade.
