A while back I was introduced to Festool. By far, some of the coolest stuff out there. I was intrested in the shopvac that they made, for the plug-in for sanders, biscut joiner, router, etc. You pull the trigger on the tool and the shopvac kicks on automaticly to suck up the dust.
But then I saw the price of one of them. Ouch.
Solution: Craftsman makes a "safety switch" that does the same thing. The craftsman, however, has three plug-ins. The top is for you major tool, i.e. miter saw. The bottom two are for your shopvac and worklight or whatever. You pull the trigger on the miter saw and batta-bing, your vac is up and running. Price $20.
