Community Dust Collector???

We could all "pitch in" get this bad boy and work out a deal with the local authorities to use the sewer lines or something to connect ALL our shops :rotflm:
65,000 CFM should run a "few shops" right? :gar-La;

Or better yet, it's on wheels... could accompany the Good Will Lathe :nah:

Would a full sheet of plywood qualify as dust to this beast?

I'd be worried about smaller shops that don't have solid masonry walls.

Than again, if we just set it up and left it running, it probably would effectively collect dust over a 328 square mile radius.

Now, how long till Scott gets one

I think one of our members used to have a system like that. If I recall, our user count decreased from 1,821 to 1,796 overnight.

I'll bet you that it's used for collecting sandblasting residue from large projects (such as water tanks, bridges, etc), and that's why it's mobile.
