I have cleared my on-call duty for that weekend so I will be there for sure!
I have read the post and I have everything except a mallet. I think I'll be able to make one before the workshop.
I have several flavors you can use any or allI have read the post and I have everything except a mallet. I think I'll be able to make one before the workshop.
Looking forward to the class! I had a few of the same questions as Michael regarding the saw (dovetail or crosscut) and chisel sizes. Also, I assume by wooden clamps you are referring to the wooden screw clamps. I don't have any of these, but I have plenty of the quick release clamps as well c-clamps if those work. Otherwise, I have everything covered.
Thanks,
Jim
Yes, I have read post #24. I do have the following questions/comments:
Tools to bring along:
A sharp saw >>>dovetail saw or some other type?
chisels to chop and trim >>>>any particular size? 1/4" and 1" ok?
mallet - won't need a big one. >>>>ok, got this one covered!
marking gage to scribe lines >>>>check....
a few clamps - maybe 3-4(wooden clamps with 3" opening will do) >>>>check....
card scraper - optional >>>>and check....
Thanks for putting this together Dan and Phil! Looking forward to a great day!
