I've been looking at carving stands and just wouldn't pay what they wanted for the ones available. This past weekend I met a guy from Charlotte at the symposium and he showed me his. He builds and sells them for quite a bit less then what's available. I finally got to use it and I like it. Keeps the bowl where I want it while I glue in the inlay.
