A little over a year ago I finished this coffee table, last weekend I finally finished end tables to go with the coffee table. Next year I hope to finish the matching hall table. Thought I would share some pictures...the tables are unique if nothing else!

Bill, nice job. What I like most is the legs are only there to showcase the top. They are nice and nicely understated. The bubinga takes center stage.

WOW!! That Bubinga definitely stands out!!!!

Didn't you make a desk top out of it? Did you ever finish the base?

Amazing looking wood there, Bill and you certainly did it justice!

Will compliment any decor, for sure.:eusa_danc

Very, very nice tables Bill. I'm not a big fan of the style, but the wood is gorgeous, and I do like the way the legs are joined to the shelves. But how do you stop people from constantly rubbing the wood and getting it all smudgy....

Man that quilting makes it look like I'm wearing 3D glasses...

For anyone who has been asking about what to do with a slab, this would be one solution! :widea:

I did make the desk top but have not gotten to the base..the coffee table, end tables and a cradle somehow jumped up on the priority list ahead of my desk! Someday I will make the desk base and the remaining office furniture drifting around in my head.:eusa_danc
