Bowl buffing

I bought a bowl buffing set up a while ago. The white diamond and the tripoli are hard and crumbly making it hard to put it on the pads. Is this normal or did I get some old polishes?

Should melt into the spinning buffs. If it don't, it's hosed.

They are brittle, but they "melt" into the wheel. Make sure you are using a mid-bottom of the wheel application ,and let the friction build the heat up.

I just purchased some stuff and the guy I spit the order with told me to keep the stuff sealed an a ziploc bag and keep it refrigerated when not in use or it will dry out and become unusable. :dontknow::dontknow: Since he knew more about it than I, I just took his advice and zipped it and chilled it.:eusa_danc
