I was putting a new tire on my bandsaw. While purchasing them from the Woodworking Shop, the guy at the register said that replacing them was a chore. So when i got to my saw, i knew it would be a challenge, but i tried to stretch it over the wheel anyways. I gave up pretty quickly and took the wheel off and grabed my bicycle tire levers and worked the tire on with ease. For those on familiar with tire levers, they work in pairs to work a tire on a rim of a bicycle wheel. you can use a flat headed screw driver but i caution that you need to be careful not to puncture the tire. You put the tire on the wheel as far as you can and you use the levers/screw drivers placed on both sides of where the tire isn't on the wheel and use them to work the tire on. it's all about leverage.

I know this might be old hat to most of you but i hope it helps someone the next time you replace your bandsaw tires....

remeber you have to rotate them after 3000 bd ft:gar-Bi:rotflm::rolf:
