Thanks for the link Jeremy. There's nothing like a fine tool made painstakingly by hand. Can you imaging stitching all those teeth on a single file? Especially the finer ones. What a craft! :notworthy: I for one would go crosseyed real quick.
This is good news! I met the owner at a handtool show last year right before they closed down. Very nice guy and felt bad things fell apart for him while he was here. I wonder how the poor souls who paid $600-$700 a piece on Ebay for a $70 rasp feel about this? Ringling had it right I guess. Every minute.

Anyone heard the story of the reopening? The juicy gossip part of the story?
Facts I know are they had a labor issue (strike), shut down, then reopened somewhere else with some of the key employees and the original hammer/forge.
