Antique Heart Pine Pen

A member over at IAP email me a picture of a pen he made from [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]Antique Heart Pine blanks I've been selling over there. I really think this pen looks cool and I don't know why but it makes me think of a piece of candy.

Anyways I thought it was pretty cool so I figured I would post it.

That is really nice. I've turned two pens out of some Heart Pine that I recovered from beam out of a 200+ year old carriage house in Wilmington. The growth rings really look great if you give the pen some contours, they look like topo lines. It smells awesome while turning too :eusa_danc
