Aluminum Foil and Rust

After last weeks monsoon, my jointer had a faint hint of rust on the beds. Remembering that recently I had seen a tip to use aluminum foil to remove rust, I tried it- It Worked! Just wad up the aluminum foil and use as a scrubber on the rust. Cleans as well a steel wool. After cleaning, rub the top with some waxed paper to make it SLICK. Be sure to buy your own foil and waxed paper.

Aluminum foil is also a good way to clean a grill surface. Works just as good as a wire brush!!:eusa_danc

Have never heard of the aluminum foil, but I will definitely try it especially on the grill.

Interesting fact indeed ... but I guess it makes sense. I'll have to give it a try ...
