3 Gift boxes

I have 3 sisters in NY ... and you'll never guess what there getting for
Christmas this year:eusa_thin. I'm driving up for Thanksgiving so I had to get then done early. Two are butternut and one is cherry with walnut drawers.
I think thats all the sanding I'll do for a while.

OUTSTANDING!!!!! The Cherry and Walnut one is my favorite, I really like the contrasting drawers. I bet you won't want to sand anything for a long time now :lol::lol:

I have practiced making one..maybe I'll get back to trying another one soon.
What finish did you use?

Butternut is a real soft wood that kind of "furs" up when sanded.
Used sanding sealer / 3 or 4 coats of wipe on poly sanded with 0000 steel wool between coats.

Really nice looking boxes and a nice finish on all of them. All look good but Walnut/Cherry is my pick.
