snipe

Planer Snipe

Just got a 15" Grizzly planer with a spiral cutterhead (G0453Z). I am having some issues with snipe. I adjusted everything to the factory settings (the outfeed roller was set lower than specifications) and that seemed to help some, but I am still getting some snipe. I was getting it on both...

Grizzly Planer Snipe - Model G0453

I was wondering if anyone had expereince with taking snipe out of the Grizzly 4053 planer or expereince with general set up. One of the things suggested in the manual was to adjust the "pressure bar". Image shown of adjustment taking place in manual does not represent my machine. :slap: This...

Jointer Snipe Again

I am continuing to get snipe from time to time on my 8" Woodtech jointer. Anyone have any experience in the best way to clear this up?
