trying to find the few QS boards in a mtn. of FS
hi... with the projects i do, i pretty much exclusively use quarter sawn wood, and most of the lumber yards i get the wood only carry flat sawn wood in the species i am looking for, so i end up spending a good amount of time digging through boards looking at the end grain to find the few pieces...- jonnyfontaine

Hello from Northeast TN. My wife is a Tarheel from Mitchell County and she has some kinfolk in Wilkes County. Me? My blood runs big orange. I heard about this site from guys over on Woodnet.
