Newbie Here - Question About Hangers for Ledge Shelves I'm Building
Read through the archives and see where this issue raised but never fully answered. My shelves [painted solid poplar] will be 1.5" thick, 6.5" deep, and up to 102" long ... a maximum weight of 15 lbs each before another 15 lbs maximum will be displayed atop. Keyhole router bit question
Is it best to drill first and then use the keyhole bit or just plunge it in? I need to make some keyhole slots on the back of a plaque I made to hang it with. I would like to drill first and then use the bit as that would allow me to use my non-plunging trim router which fits the work piece...- DaveO

Need keyhole hangers and Mahogany
Hi i need help finding a key hole hanger. only one i can find is like the one posted in the picture from woodcraft, but i need one like the other picture. it is to hang a 12 in by 3 foot shelf with made from oak about 9/16 thick.
