Jet Midi lathe 1014 bearings replacement walk through (picture heavy)
My poor little girl, the Jet Midi lathe VS1014 was in need of some bearing replacements. It should be a very straightforward process, you know the whole 'knock out a bearing and just replace it' kind of thing. 3/8'' Mounting Bolt
Machine is anchored to base with four 3/8''x1-1/2'' bolts - threaded into 3/8" nuts welded on the Base corner mounting plate. The counter-bored hole in the wood spacer block (4-1/4''x 5-1/2'' x 3/4'') provides clearance for the nut.- KC7CN

Tool Holder/Rack for Jet 1442
Has anyone ever made or bought a rack or tool holder for the Jet 1442 lathe....one to just hold maybe the 1 or 2 tools you use the most or right then right at hand?? maybe one that hangs from the bed etc or something else? The one Jet offers is expensive.- Flute Maker
