    I turned a ledge in the bowl rim. Then embedded the sliced walnut shell into the epoxy resin in the ledge. The bowl is spalted poplar.

    This is a large (70x50) mirror with a 10 1/2" walnut frame- the frame is mitered at a bevel of 5 degrees and held together with domino tenons (and support on the back). It has several areas of crushed turquoise inlay as well.
