Black gloss finish on headboard
Finally I got a gloss finish. Headboard Finally finished
It's finally finished. This was a very satisfying project. Plans were from Woodsmith #145 modifed for a kings size bed. The finish is 2 coats of garnet shellac (1.5lb cut) and 3 coats of water based satin poly. Critiques welcome! Gary- Sabre2

Started this project last summer (Woodsmith #145). It has started to warm up here so I got back out in the garage/shop Sunday. I finished cutting the panels to size and contoured. LOML wants me to cut out two headboards for single beds we have in the guest room. Just some 3/4 ply or MDF with an arched back that she will pad and upholster. Quick project.
