Turning bottle stoppers ???
Any advice on turning bottle stoppers. It looks pretty easy, and a great gift to give. I have a drill chuck that seems to run true. I am think that all I have to do is drill out a hunk of wood and glue in a dowel, that matches the dia. of a pre-drilled cork. Chuck that blank and turn it between...- DaveO

I got the stoppers and blanks from Penn State Industries. The stock was a sampler, so no labels, but here are my guesses (l-r): Cocobolo, Zebrawood, Paduak (or Redheart), Kingwood (or Bocote), Paduak (or Redheart). Any better guesses?- brenthenze

Bottle Stopper Class Nov 19th at Hickory Klingspore's Woodworking Shop
Ok guys, I wanted to go ahead and let you know of another Kilingspore class I'm going to be teaching. I'm doing a bottle stopper class on Nov. 19th from 10-12am.
