Grabbed this piece of wood that I've had for a while in a pile I thought was all Mahogany but when I cut it it doesn't look like the rest of the mahogany I have. Any ideas on what it is?
Not sure if the Union is exactly the same but the Stanley no. 48 came with two blades, hence the two knobs for tightening. I would think they wouldn't be too hard to make if you had access to some tool steel. Let me know and I can provide dimensions of the blades from my no. 48

From my experience the small lasers typically use a software call LightBurn to control the laser and create the artwork. A couple of youtube videos and I was up and running. My "laser" is a bit unique as i bought the laser module from Creality that attaches to my 3D printer

plastic bag in the trash can is my go to now, i used to just dump the dust bin into the can at the street and watch the cloud of dust when the trash make picked it up but I have gotten nicer as i've gotten older :-)
