Building a small coffee table for another daughter. She selected red oak and a spin on the Mission style. Due to the lack of 50" clamps (in my "collection") I used two Merle band clamps which worked extremely securing everything during glue-up. (I had the lid all glued up. Each board of the top was dowelled and then edge glued. I have it clamped down to the bench top to ensure it stays flat. Very humid out the last couple of days.)
