I try to make this, they will haggle on the scratch & dent. Mainly near the end on saturday.

I picked up 200 extruded aluminum bandsaw rip fences for $5. Don't ask why!

My two favorite rules about playing poker (I really don't play, though):

Never play cards or pool with anyone named afer a city or state.

If you can't spot the sucker within half an hour, you're the sucker.
(some people say first hour, but I would have run out of money well before that).

Just happened to stop by WWS on the way home from a business trip. They had a Delta planner on sale because it had a couple of minor parts missing. I decided to buy it because at the time I had a friend in Cola. who was a Delta rep. I knew he would send me the parts for free. The clerk was new and had a little trouble which caused him to be a little slow. No big deal I thought. When he was all done and I had paid for the planner I turned around and saw a different salesman helping another customer load up the planner. The clerk that waited on me had this really strange look on his face. He said he needed to go in the back and was gone quite awhile. When he came back out a new planner was being rolled out behind him. They gave me the new planner and a set of blades, for my having to wait, at no additional cost.:eusa_danc:eusa_danc

Do you think I might be a good customer:rotflm:. I buy so much from them they send me a hardback catolog.

Does this qualify as a stealth gloat?:gar-La;

That's what I call customer service. And guess what, you'll be coming back because of this. Sure, they may not have made much of a profit this time around, but most woodworkers tend to be "lifers"....
