Does anyone know the name/website of someone who rebuilds tool batteries?

This guy used to be called Battery Rebuilders dot com but ran into some problem with the company name. He used to advertise on a couple of WW forums. The reviews I saw were positive. I had a few PC 14.4s rebuilt and they seem to work fine. It looks like his prices have gone up since then. He also will rebuild with higher A-hr batteries also.

Junkman (Curtis, member here) used to do that, tho I think he got out of the business a while back. might be worth giving him a call. I bought some equipment from him last year, when he was getting out of flat work. Had some great turnings

Batteries Plus here in Fayetteville does. I have had a dozen or so of Dewalt 18 volt batteries rebuilt. Pricing was ok at about 50.00 a piece.
Then there are somwe folks on the internet that are rebuilding batteries.

Batteries plus is really good. They use higher quality batteries in the rebuild than came orgional. $50 is around what they charge in Jacksonville.

I ran across this guy on eBay... I wasn't comfortable with his wording... $12.95 just to Access another website... didn't sound right to me... He didn't answer my questions to satisfy my mind...

Don't do it! If it really worked, others, including major battery sellers would be providing this service. He is selling instructions for a reverse current refurb that may work for a little while on some batteries. He can blame failure on you since you are actually doing it. He is not selling the refurb nor new batteries. His process will likely stop working just about the time buyers can no longer leave feedback. He still has considerable negative feedback.

Hi Stuart,

I had a couple of Bosch batteries rebuilt by Jason Abel of
BatteryRebuilders.com and was very pleased with the results and the price. (I think that he recently updated his website and is now calling it MTO Battery.com)

Great service and excellent results.
