Hi Gang - I figured it is probably a good nite to update you on my latest project. I am building a small tressel(sp) table. I found the design in an old Weekend Wood Crafts magazine. I am using some Cherry I had in a pile outside the shop, and will make the top out of either Oak or some other contrasting wood.
Now for the hard part, I will try to upload some pictures of the leg parts. Here goes....
Guess not... I need to figure the picture thing out then I'll post them.

You'll need to create your photo album; then upload pics into that; then copy/paste from your album into your message. You could have multiple sub-albums to keep your photos organized, i.e., shop pix, trestle table, my dog Spot, the list is endless! Pretty simple once you've done it. Yeah, i know.....once you've done it:wink_smil

OK then... Let's try this... Here are some pictures of the legs for the table in process. Sorry for my forum abilities. I'll get better as I do more of this. Kinda link woodworking.

Kevin,

It is easy to create Albums -- When you click on Photo Gallery (Blue Tab at top) and you're taken to that overall category, you will see just below the normal Brown Menu Bar a line that starts My Photos ∙ My Albums ∙ My Favorites ... Click on My Albums and then in the new window, click on Create New Album. I have learned (the hard way) that it is best to create an Album and then upload pictures to it. Otherwise, you must edit each picture and put it into the album that you want if it is already uploaded. One other important point -- if you move any picture to an album through the edit process, the link to that picture in a thread is broken, so it pays to get them organized first. You can create several albums and leave them empty -- when you are ready to upload, just pick the relevant Album at the time you upload the pictures. Hope this helps.

Thank you all for the encouragement, I really needed it. Of course, I know all the things I did wrong so I often get discouraged with complicated joinery. I finally figured out what Rob was saying about the Albums for photos. I did as he suggested and then uploaded a bunch of pictures of some lathe work I had done several years ago.
All the pictures were taken with my Blackberry Curve. I was pretty impressed with the clarity myself. I most often take blurry pix. I'll try to keep you posted on the progress. I hope to get the stretchers fit-up tomorrow and perhaps begin to work on the top.
Again, thank you all for your encouragement.

Great work-in-progress pictures. As much as I like seeing the finished project, the stages inbetween are the really interesting parts. Thanks for sharing.
