Kenneth Small Name Train
Made for my friend Kenneth who is one of the original and founding members of the @themebanetraindisplay . Kenneth is in his 80s and is very knowledgeable about model trains and has a beautiful home layout in his basement.
I cut this name train out of 3/8 inch material so it can stand on its own.
The alphabet train pattern is by Steve Good and last year I used my @longer3dprinter to laser cut out all the letters out of poster board. This way it saves on ink and paper and I can easily line up the letters on the material.
Cut out on my @deltamachinery scroll saw with number 5 blades.
I hope Kenneth likes this and it's just my way of showing appreciation to all he has done.

COOL!
Can you imagine a young person getting that in a box and how excited he or she would be to assemble it?!

Not to "toot" my own engine and since my name is also Ken ....
But I have been cutting letter trains for several years - CKSartistry - Etsy
One year I cut about 25 engines/cabooses for Toys 4 Tots.
"Toot" away Ken!
Those are really nice and cutting 25 of them for T4T is really great.
