Small Computer Desk

LOML wanted a new Computer Desk, so we came up with this design
The top is 36" X 20" Breadboarded solid Cherry
Sanded to 220 grit, then Watco Danish Oil Cherry, several coats of waterbased poly, wet sanded to 600 grit, waxed and buffed


Ralph came up with the idea of the lifting top because Shirley wanted a place for pens, ect but the apron wasn't deep enough for drawers...

The hardwood is Cherry, painted pieces are Popular, except the foot rest crossmember, that's Oak...

LOML has a laptop, so lifting up slightly for access hasn't been a problem yet ;-)
