Slabs

Does anyone have or know where I can find some smaller (2-3' X 3-4') slabs? I wanted to try and make a coffee table, but the ones I've seen at Klingspor and Woodcraft are larger and more $$ than I want to spend. I don't have a specific species in mind yet.

Ah go ahead. That beautiful slab of Bubinga at the Raleigh Woodcraft would make a really nice table. Or 2 coffee tables. It's just money OK? Or you could just find a nice 12" wide board and resaw it for a bookmatch look.

Kyle Edwards has a lot of slabs in stock over in Iron Station, NC.

I also have one 20" x 72" QSRO slab available that would make an outstanding table, as well as some burl white oak slabs in that size range.
