I’m glad they aren’t deleted. It’s good to have an archive on used tools for sale and prices to refer back to.

"Gone" means that the item was either sold, or the listing (Craigslist for example) was deleted. Personally, I never noticed a "delete" option, so I simply edited the title.

Most sites will not delete these posts for reference reasons, like others have said. They could be closed so no one can post in them anymore. But, given the demand on the admin and moderators, does not always happen, not a biggie.
