Router Bits

Looking at upgrading some of my bits and wonder if anyone has used any of the new triplewing bits. Specifically does a triplewing Freud or MCLS bit out perform a comparable whiteside bit.

I've not really had any problems with any of the above mentioned brand names. So I can't really say one is better than the other. I kind of feel that a triple wing is a little more stable with less tear-out, but don't have an scientific evidence to that, just a feeling.

I really like that MLCS does not charge shipping so I can order a single bit from them without feeling like I need to increase the order to make the charges less onerous.

Istarted with the MLCS bits..they work good...have since upgraded to Freud and Sommerfeld.....Only difference is better carbide I think which cause's less burning...just my 2cents worth....ccasion1
