After using a shaper with shaper cutters I can sincerely say there is no comparison of it to a router table. A 4 wing raised panel shaper cutter can easily do a door in a single pass. Couple it with a power feeder and OH MY!!! The only drawback to a shaper is the variety of cutters. I think there are more router bits than shaper bits.

I am trying to resist ordering some of these as I have another couple of goodies in the works....
