I have been having back problems and I went to the Neurologist today - They are talking surgery:swoon: one of my vertebrae has slipped 1/2 inch and is pinching - left side from hip down to the foot - I know this is not the place to ask but you guys are family and I would like for you to pray for me if you choose to - Everytime I think about this tears come to my eyes - :gar-Cr

You have started out correctly. Your faith and the power of prayer will work wonders. I recently had total hip replacement and was supported by many prayers from NCWW. Raleigh Orthopedics did my surgery and I was very impressed, would recommend them to you. You have my prayers.

All the best, Phillip. I had similar surgery in 1995. A herniated disk in my neck was causing unbelievable pain from my upper back down to my finger tips. I was scared to death the morning of the surgery. I asked the surgeon if he had been out partying the night before; was everything going okay with him and the wife; how many cups of coffee had he had that morning. Just wanted to make sure I had his undivided attention. :wsmile: Needless to say, everything went fine and as soon as I woke up, the relief from pain was amazing. Glad I did it. And you will be too!!!!!

Hey Phillip,

You got it my friend, the wife and I are praying for you. I know what back trouble is all about...It scares the bejeebers out of you. But if you listen to the docs you will be haulin lumber in no time. Have faith and all will turn out just fine. I am just up the road so if you need anything you just give a shout.

I am praying for you! I had an uncle with a similar situation, only his required surgery. Everything went great and his has had no problems since! Hang in there, the docs know what they are doing.
