Took my family up to the Boston area for a 5-day vacation a couple weeks ago. Never been up that way, so we wanted to see some historic sites.
Plimoth Plantation is an outdoor museum with historic reenactors recreating the English settlement life of Plymouth (also spelled "Plimoth" by the then governor) in 1627. Thought members may want to see some photos from the Plimoth Plantation woodworking demonstration area in their non-period Crafts Center. Unfortunately, the demonstration was not going on at the time, but I know people here like to see shavings. :wink_smil

Here's a semi-panorama (made from 3 photos) that I put together of some of the woodworking demo area. In mid-left is a beautifully carved chest that I didn't have the foresight to photograph. They were giving it away in a raffle.
