oops. Lathe and dog maybe. the car(1985- no garage queen) was an innocent bystander. Sorry about that. It is another passion and another story.:embaresse I was actually working there as you can see by the chips. My first piece flew off the lathe and almost added to the cars ".vintage vibe".

Mike I just added a photo of the spring pole lathe to my gallery. Tried to insert it here too. The ice cream scoop was my first project. An easy start via rockler.

Nice job John... especially the little carved addition to the top beam. Like I said once... looks too much like real work to me at this age. Ethel would have taken 10 years with your hand tools.
